COLOUR, SOUND, SHAPE, AND NUMBER
By P.S.N. Prasad
The knowledge about colours, sound, shape and number is the highest of human
learning in the art of healing as well in the halls of occultists. Occultism is
a perfect scientific process. It requires a regular practice under an
experienced genius called Guru. It also requires an untiring application of all
faculties of a man. His physical, mental and intellectual activity must be
synthesised. This practice includes every little bit of his daily experience as
an inclusion and not exclusion. His eating, learning, drinking, earning and
enjoying should be included in the process. He should have no time or
inclination to take part in side issues. Every single minute of his life should
be meaningful and significant contributing to the ultimate perfection . This is
what Master C V V calls all round development. To perfect himself, man must know
how to converse with the intelligences working in the nature - the Devas. To
have a communion with them, certain symbols which are not man made must be
applied in his life. This symbols are natural and are presented to human mind by
the nature. They are Colour, Sound, Shape and Number. All these symbols are
useful in meditation for an occultist in his healing and magical works. By
meditating upon the natural symbols, the disciple unfolds his consciousness.
These four symbols are like four petals of a spiritual flower. Ordinary man also
uses these symbols to achieve his mundane objectives. Since he is not trained by
a teacher, at the end of his life they convey nothing to him. We would like to
bring to the deep thinkers throughout the world to unfold themselves into the
Wisdom which is called Buddi through the ancient Indian traditional form.
Master E.K. said, number works as potency while colour works as vibration. Shape
operates as thought while sound operates as consciousness.
