PSYCHOLOGICAL SOLUTIONS THROUGH ASTROLOGY

The spiritual astrology dealing with the unfoldment of human being grades the human consciousness in three levels.
1. Individuality 2. Personality 3. Soul-consciousness.
When individual consciousness is working at its peak, his houses dominate his mind and activity. There are twelve houses according to astrology. The individual man is active in one or more of these houses. The houses are in brief : 1. Physical body; 2. Finance, speech and food; 3.Valour and brothers and sisters, short journeys, regular correspondence and communication; 4. House, property, mother, happiness, conveyance and transport; 5. Creativity, enterprise, children, love, romance, occult practices. 6. Sickness, enemies, loans, pet animals, subordinates, servants; 7. Partnerships, wife, husband and all relations that are not connected with blood; 8.Loop holes in character and behaviour, death, and things that he cannot attain, loss of consciousness where he can be defeated, life after death; 9. The Guru, and generally the luck; 10. Profession, father, influence over other people, public popularity; 11. Friends, hopes and aspirations; 12. Expenditure of money, time, and speech.
These are the twelve houses that indicate in the horoscope of an average man. An individual is one who knows how he is different from others. Individuals differ. When individuality is playing on the mind, he is stuck up in the above twelve houses. He must know how to over-come them and live above them. When individuality is playing on the mind, the planets at the birth time stimulate him into action through these houses.
When personality is strongly acting on an individual, the planets at his birth time stimulate him through signs. A man of personality is the one who knows how to share life with other people. He tries to live in the group and start living for the betterment of the group than his own individual self. The twelve signs are Aries, Taurus, Gemini, Cancer, Leo, Virgo, Libra, Scorpio, Sagittarius, Capricorn, Aquarius, Pisces. A thorough mastery over the signs and different planets acting through makes one to cross the level of personality. Then he enters into soul consciousness.
When a human being takes it as a soul, the houses, the planets and the signs cease to influence him only three centres become active. The Sun, The Moon and his ascendant or the first house are the three points through which he expresses himself into the objective world.
The psychology of individual consciousness is always conditioned by a spirit of non co-operation with other individuals. A tension of identity consciousness is always surfaced and this tension makes him careful and he tries to protect himself. Self expression is sacrificed for self importance. Goodness is sacrificed for greatness. Usefulness is sacrificed for values of life. This type of psychology brings a gradual disintegration of synthesis in the individual. Nature is always active on the background and tends a man to centralisation and perfection. The individual finds himself in an increasing number of activities and each activity forms its own centre. So his centres are many with no real centre creating a decentralisation in the interest of the individual. It gives a lot of tension to the individual. Due to this process he feels pain, misery, depression etc. And he creates miserable conditions to himself and society, there by suffers.
How can this state can be overcome and attack. It is impossible. If you want to overcome, it will overcome you. If you attack, it will attack you. It is no solution. It can be neutralised only by practicing sympathy, understanding, spirit of contribution and love. He must know, care and respect other man's point of view instead of declaring his own principles. He must be able to practise in terms of other man's needs as long as it is not against his belief or goodness. When you differ with individuals, become passive. When you have no objection, do the needful. This constant practice drives you into detachment. Opinion about other people get neutralised and the shell of individuality breaks up and merges into personality. A thorough knowledge of planets working through houses will make him appreciate how other people are reacting to their own houses. Then he knows that other individuals are stuck up in their own houses. This knowledge makes him more compassionate.
When the individual travels to the personality consciousness, he is attached to one of the groups. The group may be his own family, his own political party, his own state, his own religion, his own school of thought, etc., etc.. Persons start realising the needs of the other people in his own group which can be called his own centre and circle. His circle slowly starts expanding and it expands throughout this globe, then he lives as a soul. To cross the personality is more difficult than the individuality since a person finds security in his own circle. The main obstacle coming on the way of the person to cross over his personality is the fear of insecurity. Fear is a trait a human being inherited from the animal stage of evolution. It is very interesting that most of the signs are given the name of the animals. The sign in which he is born and the planets that are placed in these signs gives him a detailed picture of his fears. Fear is a blessing to an animal given by nature to protect life. A deer is
afraid of a tiger, this fear of deer is a protection. When this fear enters into human consciousness, it is magnified by the human intelligence. The human intellect creates number of fears such as fear for future, fear for security , fear of death, fear of unknown things in Nature. When this fear is not under control, it makes the person evil. A proper analysis of fear is given through signs and planets. A proper mastery over the signs and the planets working through them makes one liberate himself from all fears. In many persons, their inability to meet a situation is the cause of a great fear. The worst fear in a person is sense of insecurity. In nature, infact, it has no basis. Nature is always productive, reproductive and creative. The interaction between the five states of matter in Nature, the earth, the water, the fire, the air and the space creates human beings, plants, animals etc. Sun shine and Moon shine are the cause of electricity and magnetism, which in their turn create different reactions leading to reproduction and production. A proper understanding of the workings of nature dispels the fear and insecurity. Astrology is one of the best guides in its spiritual sense. Most of the predictions that are expected by many people are of lower personality level. The purpose of astrology is to crucify this personality and not to encourage it. Personal charts have no significance at all in spiritual astrology except to find out solutions to cross the fear. If at all there is a cause for fear, it is the human mind. The fear that created in human mind is not useless but also harmful. The wars between nations, the people fighting for different faiths like religions, the groups dominating the other, the competition in the world for financial supremacy are some of the examples for this evil fear of the human mind. When a thorough understanding of the laws of nature that are working by a human being will explain the properties of the mind, the senses and the physical body. Then one will have ability to get over fear. Fear of death is another great factor where the personality has to overcome. It can be systematically neutralised by right understanding of the physical body, the individuality, the personality and their natures.
The above analysis gives you a capacity to analyse the situations and gives you a capacity to act according to the divine plan. This gives a proper expansion from the personality consciousness and it permeates pure consciousness, the soul-consciousness.
Want, desire, wish, are the three factors which have to be carefully analysed. Want is common to everybody on this globe, like food, water, shelter etc., for those who obey the laws of Nature, they are fulfilled. The tendency to be hasty and to overlook many times gives disturbance. This leads you into a desire and wishes. If a proper plant is allowed by you to grow through your co-operation, it provides you with what you want to its fullest capacity. If you allow a river to flow and build villages, not cities, along its course, they supply you with all your needs. Here everybody is equally benefitted according to his capacity to bring the water from the river. If you try to own the water by tapping it into reservoirs, into your houses, then you have a limitation of resources which brings clashes among people. The great sages always had their villages caring for their needs and giving less importance to wants and desires.
The psychology of an average human being is an admixture of needs, wants and desires. Needs are true. Wants are facts. Desires are self-made or necessitated facts. Needs fix up faith in human psychology. Wants create hope for ideals. Desires prepare situations, full of necessities. The logic of want and desire disturbs the faith in the innate goodness of mankind. In essence man being goodness, he requires a centre of faith to fall back upon. That is what we call money. Since man is not ready to believe his own innate goodness and that of others he wants to construct a stump to lean upon until he learns to stand on his own faith. This stump is money, let it be gold, silver, or paper. A group of people came to common understanding of accepting something valuable and they are prepared to offer work and service on the altar of that stump, before they would offer service directly to each other. This fact proves only the evolution of human nature and the fact must not be felt humiliating.
Master E.K. Says, human mind is neither simple nor straight as that of the animal. Practice simplicity in thinking and you can observe the animals to imitate in this respect. See how they live upon the sources of Nature directly. Remember exactly what you need and differentiate it from what you desire. What you need is natural and is common with others. What you desire is a solidified crystal of your own thought process as against that of others. It cannot be in tune with Nature or the need of others. Of course, you are privileged to have your own crystal of thoughts according to your own pattern which is called your personality. Everyone is equally privileged to have his own and remember this. Having one’s own personality is wrongly understood as independence. It leads to a clash with the personality of others and hence it is no way to independence. That which binds you and leads you to a clash is no independence. This is simple commonsense. Be free from the glamour of personality and the concept of false independence that binds you.
You live in two different worlds: 1. The world created by Nature and 2.The world created by yourself. The world of Nature supplies you what you need and keeps you in a state of harmony with itself. Hence it is the real field of independence. The world created by you leads to centralisation of your own point of view and makes you a slave of your own likes and dislikes. This is self conditioning which is bondage. This is called individual karma. It is your privilege to attain freedom from this self-conditioning. Such a freedom is called the grand liberation in the scriptures. Make a simple effort to get yourself free from your own creation and you are already free in the creation of Nature. The mutual relationship is a transaction of pure consciousness. The course of action that is to be followed for this is the secret science of spiritualism. It is a secret not because it is concealed under the cover of your own limitations. To be a true student of spiritualism is to study properly the workings of Nature given through spiritual astrology. Then you are a soul, not a personality or an individual.
