PROPHECY

Mankind is now enjoying the fruits of the rapid strides made in science and technology at the beginning of the 20th century. In keeping with the further evolution of human intelligence, the 21st century is going to witness, the unravelling of many mysteries and is going to be marked by many “miraculous” occurrences. Unlike the scientists whose vision is tethered to the tangible evidence of the immediate present, ancient seers and mystics could see far into the future and foretell the inventions and events yet to occur. Their forecasts are generally referred to as predictions or prophecies. Special mention may be made about Madam H.P. Blavatsky whose several conversations with her followers offer testimony of the predictions she had made about the various events that occurred in the 19th century. Similarly many prophecies have been made by Alice A.Bailey, Master C.V.V., Master E.K. and many others who had the gift of visualising the future happenings. “Mihira” will present some of the prophecies made about the coming century. Forthcoming issues will carry detailed accounts of many such prophecies. The focus of the present issue is going to be on predictions made regarding future sources of energy.

WATER AS A SOURCE OF ENERGY

The world is heading towards a serious energy crunch owing to the depletion of available energy sources. Shortage of petrol and electricity may force man to give up many of the comforts he is enjoying at present. But efforts will be made to exploit to the full, the one almost inexhaustible source of energy water. Though it appears to be an enigma to the scientist, for the seer this is a reality.

With the tapping of this new energy source, modern factories and transportation facilities will be revolutionised. This will have a tremendous impact on mankind. Madam Blavatsky prophesied that a group of devas who are closely associated with water will help the scientists to achieve this objective. These devas are also known as astral devas and are accessible to man through his emotional body. The emotional body in man is controlled by the Manipuraka Chakra (Solar Plexus). This Chakra is located on the etheric plane. Just as the earth is surrounded by the etheric body that is not visible to our physical eyes, man’s body is also surrounded by the etheric body. According to ancient seers, the physical body is nothing but a concretised shape and several blue prints of this shape exist in ether. Master CVV describes the etheric body as “Plenty of Prana”. This plenty of prana was invoked by Master C.V.V and his disciples with the help of sound. Some modern scientists also have been conducting research on the etheric body for the last 40 years. The vibrations of an etheric body can actually be felt by man. The physical manifestation of this etheric body is through water. Ancient seers gave the name “water” to the energy tapped from the etheric body of the earth. In Vedic terminology this energy is known as Iravata. The following diagram will help an intuitive mind to unravel the mystery of this source of energy.

It has been said that humanity or the globe is governed by the seven rays that descend from the sun. Each ray acts like a building block for the next stage in the evolution of mankind. The seventh of these rays is called ceremonial magic, which will be dominant in the coming century. Since water is the future source of energy, scientists will make attempts to tap this source of energy. The impact of this seventh ray was most prominent during the 18th and 19th centuries. It ushered in many new inventions like the steam boat and electricity around the globe.
